I’m back. there is no excuse. I was just lazy. and I have so many things I could write about, but at least I am posting some pics on instagram/facebook/twitter once in a while and sometimes pictures speak more than words. sometimes…
anyway, back to food.
it’s summer in the city. finally. it took long enough. and summer time means lighter foods. we’ll see how that goes. I wouldn’t mind losing a few pounds, so my new plan is to cook less carbs. again, we’ll see how that goes.
I prepared my lunch for tomorrow (yes, happy saturday going to work). as a lot of times, I was cleaning out the fridge. I had about a quarter onion, chopped it up in small pieces, added half a cucumber (hothouse, I’m not a big fan of the other ones), sliced and then cut in quarters, half a block of feta cheese (from trader joe’s, it’s really delish, not too strong) and last a cup of grape tomatoes (I cut them lengthwise and once more). season with some salt and pepper to taste, a splash of vinegar and 2-3 tbsp of olive oil. mix well and let sit, even over night.
